Margaret Jane Norman Gallery
Named after the museum's co-founder and first curator, the Margaret Jane Norman Gallery exhibits selections from the museum's permanent collection of over 600 works of art. Paintings, sketches, sculptures and bronzes by such noted artists as Enoch Kelly Haney, Benjamin Harjo, Jr., Gary Montgomery, Willard Stone, Charles Banks Wilson, and Fred Beaver are on display.
Additionally, the gallery hosts a number of special programs and traveling exhibits throughout the year. These events include annual exhibitions, such as the Wewoka High School Alumni Art Show, and special programming, such as 2012's Combat Paper Project and the Smithsonian national traveling exhibit, "Key Ingredients: America by Food" in 2011.
The space also serves as a teaching and educational venue, as it hosts cultural workshops and special story-telling events as scheduled.
